This is a family event.

FOOD:
The club supplies all POP and "core" food,
such as hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken or what ever the guys come up with.
Everything else comes from the "dish to pass" brought in by members.
Lunch will start at 11:30 and will continue until the food runs out.

ACTIVITIES:
Club officially opens at 10;00 AM
Club facilities will be open earlier for setup activities.
Any shooting activities start at 10:00 AM
Lunch officially starts at 11:30 AM
We want to start winding down any shooting activities at 6:00 PM

SHOOTING: So you want to shoot.
Thats great, after all, that is why we have our club.
OK, this time however, the shooting is only for fun.
This is a good time to introduce this sport to someone new to shooting.

To avoid some of the logistical problems that occurred in the past, we now have a procedure:

  • You may purchase a five round card for 10.00. This is 2.00 per round.
  • Present your card when you want to shoot a round.
  • Unused rounds are a donation to the club.
Try to use the entire card of give the unused portions to someone else.
  • Scheduling is "demand queuing".
(you walk up to a field and wait until it is your turn).
  • If you use up your card, you can purchase another.
  • If you obtain a second card, this means you shot five rounds already.
  • If shooting gets backed up, first time time cards will have priority over subsequent cards.
  • No formal scores will be kept. Remember. "fun." (This is for fun).
  • No league, registered, or any other "formal" shooting will take place.
  • Games can be organized, but really must be "organized".

Most of you know our trap help. Some of them may be working, some may be shooting.
On the day of the picnic, we are going to operate with minimal trap help.
Most of our trap help want to shoot and they will shoot during the picnic.
This means some of us members will have to help out loading trap machines.

ALL OF US must act as range officers while we are shooting.
All safety rules must be followed at all times.

Picnic activities have priority over any shooting activities.
